Over the long weekend we spent the day at the beach. It was an awesome day all around. We tried a new beach that was closer than others we had been to, and we also rented a little covered area for the day. That covered area rocked! It had open and covered areas with a picnic table, closet and best of all- a fresh water private shower! After a long day of Aaron making 'sand angels' that shower was SO worth it.

We went with some friends and the boys had the best time. They played all afternoon in the sand and waves and were upset when it was time to leave, even though we had already been there for 6 hours! Aaron really has no fear when it comes to the waves as long as we are near. He goes out into 5 feet tall water with us, jumping the waves and splashing around. Then both boys laid down in the shallow water waiting for the waves to come and knock them around. They would ride waves in or let the water go over their heads. Very fun.
