Our activities

The B&B was relaxing, but we also did plenty of activities. We snorkeled at Steps Beach which was new for me. We basically walked into the water, swam about 10 feet and there was coral and under water life! We saw plenty of colorful fish, a few lobsters, and plant life right there. Mike even found me a perfect sand dollar! Of course, someone forgot to remind me that when you're snorkeling your rear end and legs are sitting on the top of the water all day- so I got a great sunburn on the back of my legs (right up to my booties for my fins- very sexy!), my rear end, and the inch between my tankini and bottoms! Oops. We were trying to be so good with sunscreen!

Another day we took a dive trip out to Desecheo Island off the coast of Puerto Rico. (the island in the sunset picture from the last post) We did two dives for about 45 minutes each and it was fantastic! I hadn't been diving for a few years and was reminded about how much fun it is. We saw so many bright and beautiful fish, flounder, eels, barracudas, dolphins, saw a shipwreck, and swam through canyon like rock life. Awesome!! It didn't even ruin the trip when I got majorly seasick and hurled over the side of the boat! How's that for romance? ;)

Every evening was dinner in open air restaurants- one on the beach at sunset. We realized we didn't take many pictures while out and about because we didn't want to get the camera wet. We left it at the B&B for snorkeling and scuba diving- oh well. We did take it to the rain forest and have plenty of pictures there- for my next post.
