Aaron the tank engine!

Happy Halloween! We had a blast here for Halloween and can't wait to see everyone elses pictures. Aaron dressed up as Thomas and loved every second of Halloween. He was shaking with excitement as we got him all dressed up and then leaving the house was cause for dancing and smiles. We started at our neighbors house and when they put multiple treats in his bucket he turned to us and was astounded saying "Look momma, I have lots of treats!" I don't think he really understood that people besides mommy and daddy were going to put treats in his bucket. He caught on very quickly though! He knocked by himself, said "Trick or Treat" and even thank you afterwards. He would announce to strangers "I'm Thomas" and loved checking out the other kids' costumes. Another highlight was carrying the flashlight which he learned all abut while camping earlier this year. At the last house the owner was carrying on and on about how cute Aaron was, saying "He's adorable". As she was closing the door, Aaron turned to Mike and said "Daddy, I'm adorable!" Too funny. When we got home he was VERY interested in getting into the treats so we swiftly swapped out the loot with his "safe" foods and he was able to eat some. We recently learned that oreos are a safe food and he tried them last night. He liked them alot and I caught a great black toothy grin. While trying to get him ready for bed, a few more trick or treaters came to the house and he would race to the door to see their costumes. All in all it was a great night for a first time trick or treater. We know this because the first thing out of his mouth this morning was "I want some treats momma". Pace yourself buddy!
