Hide & Go Seek

Aaron loves to play the game hide and go seek, and it's too cute and funny to watch! He'll stand in the corner with his eyes closed and count to 10, or better yet 13 seems to be his magic number! Then he'll announce "Ready or not, here I coming!" and head off in search of daddy or Gramma or whoever is hiding. He always looks in the last spot you were hiding first, like you hid there again :) Mike will send out little giggles to get Aaron going in the right direction and when he finds you, he shakes with excitement and joy! I LOVE watching him do it. Now, when he's the hider he doesn't fare so well. Mike will count and Aaron will "hide". Then Mike will start the search and will say little things like "I wonder where Aaron is?" or "Where could Aaron be?" but this is where Aaron loses it. He'll run towards Mike and say "Right here daddy!" and then the game is over. It works so much better when he's the seeker. When Gramma was here this weekend they played many rounds of hide and go seek. Gramma hid in many places, but the last one was her favorite spot to hide when Michael was a boy- in the bathtub behind the shower curtain. Aaron loved it!!
