Field Trip

Aaron's preschool class went on a field trip to the county fair yesterday. They had such a good time there despite it being a tiny little fair. They got to ride on a hayride which Aaron loved since it was pulled by a tractor.

Then they watched a little show where a farmer uses his dog Smudge to help do tricks and make giggles. Aaron "milked" a cow made out of wood which he really would have spent all day at. Then off to check out the animals and arts and crafts. They just had fun being together as a group outside of school I think.

I had great insight into little boys though. When we arrived we had parked next to a little girl in his class. So we, along with her and her mother, walked into the fair and to the horse barn together. They walked side by side chatting and laughing. This was about 15 minutes together. We arrived at the meeting place and Aaron spotted Brayden his new best friend. Man, within seconds they were jumping up and down, calling out unintelligible things and being just loud and energetic little boys together. Funny, how time with a girl is spent so differently. Something about boys together turn on that energy and loudness switch!
