Train museum

The next morning of our trip we went to a train museum. Aaron has never outgrown his love for trains so this was very exciting for him. The museum was perfect for him. They had old artifacts and information on train history but more importantly they had model trains on tracks all over the back room. They had all styles and villages and lumber mills all set up. The kids could go around and push the buttons to get them to move, or blow whistles, or get Thomas the Train to go forward or back. Aaron kept running around pushing the buttons and watching where the trains would go.

All aboard!

Then outside they had an actual engine, boxcar, and caboose you could climb inside. Aaron got to sit in the engineers seat, pull the rope to get the bell to ring, be the conductor, start the railroad crossing signal and bell, and pretty much do it all. Little boy heaven!
