We've been going to the local splash pad here with some friends for great summer fun. It's not big in size, but big on fun for the kids. They love it. The first time we went, Aaron got his first black eye from bonking into another kid. He got hit right in that sweet spot to make it bruise up, but not really swell. It sure didn't stop him from running around though!
The first trip, Aaron stood under the dumping bucket and got a good dousing. But I guess the water hit his sunglasses pretty hard against his face so he wasn't a fan. Well since then he has come up with a great alternative. He just lays down on the ground to get dumped on. Great idea really!
He eventually corralled his friends to do it with him last trip!
