We went to the local county fair yesterday. It was so much fun. Much smaller than the state fairs that we are used to going to, but just big enough for a two year old to have loads of fun! We started out by checking out the animals. Aaron's favorites were the roosters. Since he had just seen some at the apple orchard in Michigan, he started cock-a-doodle-doing right away. They were very vocal as well and answered right back! We had some delicious fair food for lunch and then off to the rides. Apparently Michael was a fair connoisseur while growing up and rides must be ridden. Once Aaron saw the train, he was taken! He rode the little train, then took a slide down the "fun slide" with daddy, and found a dump truck ride that he went ballistic over! Who knew you could actually drive a dump truck at age two!!! Aaron was a happy little guy yesterday.
