We had a gorgeous weekend here! The weather was unbelievable and we had both lunch and dinner outside on the back patio to enjoy it. I love the fact that Aaron can run around outside lately and not end up with a head full of sweat! He was chasing leaves and collecting sticks so he is enjoying the fall weather as well. Thanks to my sister Corrie's idea, we painted some pumpkins yesterday. We had a big one and a little one to paint. Aaron got to choose the colors and had total artistic authority. He covered up our attempts to liven up the pumpkin in no time! Funny though, he would have two colors of paint on each side of the pumpkins. When he wanted to use a color that was on the right side of the pumpkin, he would pick it up and move it to the left so he could use his left hand to paint with!! I know kids are so ambidextrous now, but he really prefers his left. Eventually we got him to paint with both hands-at the same time only though!! The final products are proudly on display on the front steps.

This last picture is priceless! Aaron took such a long nap that we had to wake him up so that he would actually go to bed at a normal time. When we went in the room he had his little rear end sticking up in the air!! Too cute. Being the paparazzi mom that I am had to run and get a picture first, and then wake him up. :)
