We had a great day off on Monday with Mike. We had gone to the pool on Sunday after nap to spend some time swimming. We've been so busy lately it had been quite awhile since Aaron had been able to go. With his float suit he loves to swim! If you attempt to help him out, he'll say "No, I want to do it by yourself!" Yes, he says it wrong- but it's so cute. I guess we refer to it as "by yourself" so he does too. We'll work on that. Anyway, he swims all around kicking and paddling with the occasional bubble blowing session. Then he'll jump off the side and gleefully saying afterwards "I went under!!" He loves to swim and we love to see the raw enthusiasm on his face while he's doing it. This kid loves to express himself with words and by his face. (Wonder where he gets it!) With all the paddling and kicking he gets tired so there isn't a typical 2 year old fit when trying to leave. He snuggles up in his towel and rests his head on my shoulder while we walk out. What a perfect Sunday activity right?

On Monday I got a special treat. Michael and Aaron hit the park sans Momma and I hit the mall! I was in a great shopping mood and even found some great deals- a button up shirt for less than $2!! After nap we did some chores around the house and Aaron got to have a special treat with Daddy- a popsicle. Mike learned that "sharing" one with Aaron isn't such a good thing. Not only is he messy- but he has learned to bite off chunks so it doesn't last too long. Oh well, Aaron loves it right?
