Aaron's canoe trip highlight

You never know what is going to make a big impression on little kids. It's always the strangest things- sometimes something you don't really remember about a trip- Aaron will talk about a few weeks later. Well, the night after our canoe trip in his prayers he thanked God for letting him take a canoe ride under a train bridge. That was my first clue. In the next few days we quickly figured out that it's the coolest thing ever to ride a canoe under a train bridge, probably only second to actually having a train go over the bridge while you're under it. And it all happened in the first 15 minutes of the trip! :)

At least we got picture proof for him to reminisce about right? Now every time he sees a train he asks "Did that train go over the train bridge we canoed under momma?" and he now acts out his canoe ride on his train set upstairs (that has had a train bridge since he got it- but he just started adding the canoe going under it). Funny how those minds work!

Cute...I'm sure you always know that answer about whether the train goes over the train bridge, right??
